  • "the life in your years" quote wrongly attributed to Lincoln

I am disappointed to find a misattributed quote here; I thought they would be better researched than that.

    I'm enjoying these puzzles!

And there's a quote by F Scott Fitzgerald that talks about the test of a "first fate" intelligence, which I assume should be "first rate."

Come on, guys! The "pollution" and "impurities" quote attributed to Dan Quayle is, according to Snopes, not a real statement by Quayle, but something written by a humor writer as something that sounds like something he would say.
Did Dan Quayle say he wished he'd brushed up on Latin before his trip to Latin America?
