Trouble scrolling

In several puzzles lately I’ve had trouble scrolling up and down the clues below the quote grid. I have to inch along slowly, or it doesn’t move at all. And the keyboard now floats a bit above the bottom of the screen; I can see part of the last line of clues beneath it. This is happening on my Apple iPad. Any ideas for a fix?
