Wit Twister #3 plus answers to #1 and #2
Hello Again,
Here’s another Wit Twister. Each missing word is an anagram of the same six letters.
Our neighbor’s “tame” poultry _ _ _ _ _ _ all ‘round the block –
Chickens and turkeys and ducks by the flock!
When their _ _ _ _ _ _ and goose put my _ _ _ _ _ _ in _ _ _ _ _ _
I made a complaint to the animal ranger.
The answers to my first two WT’s are below (scroll down):
A PEAL of thunder shook the tiny plane.
Quite PALE, I cried, “We’ll parachute in rain?”
The trainer mocked my PLEA. I didn’t weep
But steeled myself to close my eyes and LEAP.
Reunions this year have been widely REVISED
And who DERIVES joy when the fun is downsized?
But if you were a host (now a Zoom-call DEVISER)
The choice that you made was both safer and wiser.
The ways we connect are profound and DIVERSE
And when there is love, none better, none worse.
