Wit Twister #11: A Candidate Complains (Plus answer to WT #10: A Sad Theater Outing)
Happy New Year!
The election year is over, but the Georgia runoffs are still ahead, so it’s not too late for a Wit Twister with a political theme:
Each of the missing words is an anagram of the same four letters.
My running _ _ _ _ gives _ _ _ _ speeches:
Cool, ironic, self-aware.
“Throw more red _ _ _ _ !” our _ _ _ _ beseeches,
“You’re much too _ _ _ _ for crowds to care!”

In a theater box I sat, entranced
By the stage’s LUSTER as the dancers danced.
I missed a RUSTLE as I stood to clap
RESULT? A stolen ULSTER, scarf and cap.
