  • Cheating or really that good!!!! Hmmm.....

PEOPLE MUST BE CHEATING BECAUSE I CAN'T POSSIBLY SEE HOW ANYONE CAN CONSISTENTLY SCORE IN THE 200's

and score nearly a perfect score, game after game! To those who claim they can do this with such consistency, i challenge you do a zoom session where you can actually show me you are accomplishing this! Now you may be actually legitimate, but i doubt it, because even if you had all the answers, it still requires a certain amount of time to type it all out! So i snail along--i'm pretty slow and have only recorded a few top tens, nowhere near the top on the 12x12s. i struggle along hoping one day i will actually get better, but i doubt it! So i race like the tortoise vs. the hare, knowing i can easily be blown out of the water scorewise, but the question arises--are these prodigies willing to spend over 24 hours in a month to catch me? lol... we shall see!!!
i'm referring of course to the 16x16 scores which are just simply--to put it bluntly--amazing!!!!

You are far too suspicious. You have been playing for a few months. Your scores will improve, but not by accusing others of cheating. I started four years ago and always play the 16x16 because they are more challenging. Here's my last piece of advice. Have fun with your own efforts and don't worry about others.

i am not really worried per se. I just don't see a possible outcome at that rate of speed. I even admit that i may be wrong. It just boggles my mind that ppl can actually think, type, and react that quickly! Maybe it's my 65 year old brain! My challenge is really to actually witness such a stunning ability--like watching someone bowl a perfect game or watch someone run 500 pool balls without a miss! All of these things truly amaze me, so maybe i should have just focused on that alone without implicating anyone in particular! Thank you for your sound perspective, oddcouple!

For what it's worth, I just scored 312 on a 16x16 for solving it in 522 seconds. Yet, the #10 spot on that puzzle is 372 seconds! I very much agree that repetition and practice build speed, as your mind begins to recognize patterns more easily and more easily switches strategies instead of getting stuck.

        Good luck, and have fun!
