Gallant Efforts

Hey Brian,

Still learning to navigate this new forum

I saw your post and was thinking that if you're at 900+ this month, third place is currently at 803 so you should be in the top 3 if you get your games in............

Best,

Russ

RussDNails left a response and it won't let me see it

Not sure why I can't read anyone's responses to my post

The board has been really quiet lately. As far as I can tell, I'm the only one to respond. I don't know why that is.

I miss the good ol' days when an average score of 900+ on the 5x5 grids got me into the top three. The competition here is so good. It's humbling.

baaahhhh I was SO close to getting PSYCHONEUROIMMUNOLOGICAL. I just ran out of time after a couple misspellings.

I wonder if METALHEADEDNESS counts, though?

Quite possibly, but unfortunately that wasn't on the board.

[DrPlacebo]

I was tempted to try METALHEARTEDNESS(ES). Alas, no luck.

I tried MULEHEADEDNESSES today. That didn't work either.

I kinda knew BEERTASTIC wasn't a word. Tried it anyway. Nope.

[DrPlacebo]

I am disappointed that SUPERBOOZE isn't a word.

Also, if anyone remembers Homestar Runner and Strong Bad Email, I found TROGDOR on one board tonight. Needless to say, not accepted.

DENTALIZING was worth a try, maybe?

[crazykate]

Maybe they meant a butterfly pavlova?
