What to try if you are stuck on an acrostic

If you are stuck on an acrostic and can't make any more headway, try this: remove all partial answers that you have accumulated trying to solve the puzzle. Leave only the solved answers in place. Carefully put back only those letters that you are sure will fit. by doing this, you reboot your effort and see new possibilities that you were missing before. It works for me every time.
