Problem with hint box

Hint box will pop up on its own and I cannot click the x and make it go away. Have to click on the "get a hint" to make it go away. May reappear a few seconds later. Sometimes have to close puzzle to get rid of it. Has happened several times.

I've made some code changes now that I hope will prevent that from happening. Please let me know if it happens again after around 9am this morning Eastern time.
