Maybe this has been addressed before, but I am repeatedly (successfully) completing the same puzzle, and then it kind of freezes, saying "please wait for results," but never gives results, and the completed puzzles don't show up on my stats. Any idea why this happens or how to fix it?

It happens way too much. I always check to see if all has been right and now and then there is a try again that I didn't even know about. It comes from a lapse of time so that if you click it again it gives you a new puzzle and the one stays there that you didn't know was there. You should solve that.
