Guessing?

Is there some way to complete these puzzles without guessing the placement of the last few numbers? I always seem to end up with three numbers left and then I have to randomly put them in place until the math works to complete the puzzle.

Actually, I think there may be sometimes. If you look at the remaining numbers you add up, and most are positive put those there, put the negatives in the other spot, and look for numbers you have duplicates of, sometimes this works
