Firefox updated and I'm out. Case Closed covers the screen, no animation, no completed puzzle. Not the case with other puzzles on the site. No need to investigate - I've changed settings in places because I don't like anything flashing while I'm trying to read something. But just in case it's all Firefox users, I wanted to mention it.

I tried a few puzzles in the latest version of Firefox just now and didn't see this issue - I'm curious which settings you changed that might have resulted in this? The game does set a 3 second pause while the animation plays before auto-submitting to the game over page. It's possible some security settings would block an auto submit but I'm not sure, I'll look into it a bit tonight. If you enjoy our puzzles, please consider upgrading to a premium account to remove all ads and help support us financially. It's on me. When Firefox updated, it reset my permissions for javascript, and the puzzle completion routine likely (I'm not sure, but this worked) seems to require jsdeliver. I had thought the issue might be related to blocking the side widget that rotates the 1st-2nd-3rd top scores for the month. There's no reason not to give jsdeliver full permissions - I seem to end up enabling it frequently enough. Sorry to make you check.Comment

That clue is again one of those instances where the clue isn't "necessary" in order to submit the puzzle and get a correct solution, but it is actually necessary to know for sure that you do indeed have the correct solution on the board. Without that clue there are still 3 people on the grid who can be innocent or guilty, with no further information to tell you one way or the other what state they belong in, because there is no clue in this puzzle that tells you the total number of guilty people on the board. If you enjoy our puzzles, please consider upgrading to a premium account to remove all ads and help support us financially.
