shaded placements in hall of fame

Hey folks, I'm wondering if anyone can explain why some names/placements in the Hall of Fame list are shaded? It seems to change and I'm struggling to figure out the pattern to it. Thanks in advance!

I think it's the people who are currently online. Is yours always shaded when you look at it?

Ooh, that would make sense; probably wouldn't have reached that conclusion on my own! I honestly haven't thought to take note of whether my own was always shaded, but referencing the list of who's online seems to confirm this. Thanks!
