Just a few quality of life improvements I've been thinking about since I started playing:
- Completion Time analysis: I rather enjoy seeing how my time stacks up against others like I've seen at the end of Reverse Word Search, Logic Puzzles, et al.
- Improved solve logic on submit: A lot of these puzzles' clues point toward more innocent than guilty, and in many cases I've identified all the innocents and lose precious seconds going through and double-clicking the remaining unknowns so I can submit. Can the solve logic be updated to consider it a win if (all guilty persons are marked guilty) OR (all innocent persons are marked as innocent)?
- Alternatively, a button to mark all remaining unknowns as guilty would work just as well.
- One-click guilty/innocent: e.g. update it so a left-click would mark innocent while a right-click would mark a person guilty. It's probably a me issue, but if my mouse is still moving even a little bit while I'm doing a bulk guilty (like 7 guilty in X's line of sight), one of the clicks doesn't register and I lose time going back.
- Revised hint logic: When I'm genuinely stuck, I'm hesitant to use the hint button because it marks it as an automatic loss. 10 points for eventually finishing is a lot better than a loss. Perhaps it would be used a bit more if it had a less drastic penalty? Perhaps a time penalty like in Logic Puzzles and/or a limited number of uses per game.
