It happened again!

Now I've got a cryptogram that won't accept the letter "i." As you can see, the problem is not with my computer. iiiiiii. See? It's coming through just great on this post! This is so frustrating, because I finished the cryptogram, and I know I got it right, because it's a very famous quote that I already knew. Is this happening to anybody else, or is the moderator picking on me?

I have heard no other reports of this type of problem - it might be the browser you are using? What type of operating system and browser are you currently using?

No one is picking on you, but I would appreciate it if you kept all your bug posts to a single thread - it makes things easier to keep track of.

I guess it must be my computer.

I guess it must just be my computer then. My browser is Windows internet explorer, and my computer is an emachine. I'm not very computer savvy, and I'm sort o new to all this. I'm sorry I've been such a pest. I'll just keep playing, and try to solve these weird glitches as they come up.

Internet explorer - especially older versions of it that haven't been updated in a while - tend to be a bit buggy. You may want to try another browser like Firefox just to see if it improves the situation for you. Firefox is available for free download at www.getfirefox.com - I use it myself. (It also runs faster than Internet Explorer).

Anyway that might be worth a shot - or you may want to see if your Internet Explorer browser needs to be updated/upgraded to a more recent version.

This time it's the cryptogram.

I have just finsihed acryptogram that has no"check it" and "reset buttons at all! I would love to submit it, but I can't see how to do it. And it must be the game this time. Those buttons just aren't there. The game has been working just fine for me all day until this cryptogram came up.

I've still got that cryptogram up on my screen. It's a quote from Phyllis McGinley about frigidity. And the "check it," "reset," and "hint me" buttons are still missing.

I tried it again, but no luck.

I tried it again, but I this time I got "Done, but with errors on the page" at the bottom of the screen. Do you think it would help if I went to the old screen format?

I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox

I just did a cryptogram in Mozilla Firefox, and it worked like a dream! Thank yo for suggesting it.
