She is a teacher, and could be really tied up with the end of the school year.
Or she may have finished the school year and gone away on vacation.
Diane is nice. I'll be glad to see her back here, regardless. Hope whatever it is, is something good for her. -
Di was in Appleton, WI this weekend and attended my 25th college reunion with me. There was a banquet for the class of 1983 and Di and I came to a table and asked if we could join the persons seated there. We coincidentally ended up sitting next to the new President of Lawrence University, Jill Beck. I was a very small man on campus, and Di wasn't even an alumna, yet here we were conversing with the President for the greater part of an hour!
The festivities continued all weekend long, and we also attended a performance by the Lawrence Conservatory Symphony Orchestra and a punk band called "The Daves." Their lead singer has had his third book published and is currently working on a movie deal for his first novel. Good luck to him.
I had a wonderful time this weekend, and I'm hoping Di did too.
