Inspired Poetry

Another self-promotion, a limerick I had forgotten about. I added line breaks. There were some fun comments too, but I have not included them.

Each body continues its course
Unless it is changed by a force,
And when it's at rest,
(Unless it's impressed),
It's lazy and shows no remorse.

The house for sale, needing paint.
The owner well practiced in restraint.
"If I paint I can show it".
Said the lazy poet.
And the thought of it all made him faint.

I just got this one today, and was inspired to another limerick.

And when a poem IS a theorem, it's really great!

An angle not sharp nor obtuse,
A triangle's sides, does conduce
To sum up its squares
(Though quite unawares)
To the square of the hypotenuse.
