Weird Puzzle

Has anyone ever seen a puzzle formatted like this before?!? The text going off the screen doesn't really affect the puzzle, but it's just odd to see. I tried zooming my tab in and out but all that did was reveal the frequency table hidden under the ad.

its because all those dashes make that super long string count as one word
