There is a new person cheating, their username is will0417 (they're unrelated to will0416, I checked with will0416 earlier) . Their average time is 7.4 seconds with ~98% accuracy. And now I just saw they set multiple 1 second records in the same minute.

(I could maybe see someone being really fast with high accuracy but I don't think they can get two 1 second records in 1 minute!)

Ooh, does that mean we're going to get some high score resets? That's what happened last time Stephen kicked out a cheater. All his records were reset to 60 seconds by Guest.

Okay, I'll ask the stupid question: How does someone cheat?

There must be a computer program that will solve a cryptogram in a second. But where's the fun in that? It defeats the whole purpose of playing.

Or maybe a person can slow down the time on their computer so that they actually take 10 seconds to solve a puzzle but it shows up as 1 second instead.

I have to admit a certain grudging respect for the wherewithal it takes to implement either of those methods. Thanks, Eureka!
