A different technical glitch

Admin,

I changed my avatar and it shows up in my profile, in the forum pages, and in the chat page properly, but in the scores page it is still the unicorn. Is there any way to fix this? I've logged in and out several times, and that doesn't seem to do the trick. Any advice is appreciated.

As I recall, Stephen had said it sometime takes a little while for the change to work its way through everything on the system. Often a day or so.

If it is still that way after 24 hours, there might be an issue, otherwise we just need a little patience.

In looking at the scores pages, it appears to me that your avatar has now changed.

Yes, it can take 24-48 hours for the avatar to update throughout the site.

well, it appears that everyone else is seeing my new avatar on the scores page, while I still see the unicorn! I can live with that...thanks for the advice; I'll try to up my patience quota

99% of the time

Remember that all advice from the admin works 99% of the time. I have gone weeks without being able to see my new avatars and only can when I have cleaned and defragged my own computer.
