We are all writing the Great Book of Crypto Comments. Your royalty check is in the mail.

Our administrator friend really could produce a decent book from this site, couldn't he? He could list a quotation on each page and then share the best comments from users afterward. To make it funner, he could list a cryptogram for the quotation at the bottom of the previous page. Or maybe he could do several cryptograms at the end of a page, then list their solutions with comments afterward.

I'd enjoy that book, but I'm not sure there would be a huge market for it outside our little community. So much of the fun is getting to know players over the years by the comments that they leave. I don't think that would necessarily carry over in book form. I just hope that Stephen (Admin) is entertained by us.

I think it could be fun for anyone to get to know some people only by a screen name. MontyB has some witty comments that merit being read. I think the problem with any book is getting people to care in the first place. I'd buy it, though. And yes, I agree; I hope that Stephen gets a lot of satisfaction from seeing people use the site and engage in conversation on it.
