Sometimes the system shows a missing puzzle (e.g., 373/374), but when I look at the Recent Games page, I don't see that any are missing. I tried waiting, refreshing, etc., but the missing puzzle still doesn't appear. I also tried a different browser. This problem has occurred several times (over many months). Please advise. Thank you!

Thank you for the replies! The "recent games" page (which covers the last 12 hours) is supposed to show you which puzzles you attempted. Each one should say either "completed" or "retry?" I don't remember hitting the back button, but even if I did, the "recent games" page should still show any puzzles that I loaded but didn't finish.Comment

What's the indication that there are games you loaded that don't show in the "Recent Games" page? You said at top that "the system shows a missing puzzle" -- what does that look like? I've never seen any page or message that said "Missing puzzle".Thank you for the replies! The "recent games" page (which covers the last 12 hours) is supposed to show you which puzzles you attempted. Sorry for not being clear. I don't know of "missing puzzle" page. I'm talking about the "recent games" page (or tab). When I look at the high scores for November, I see 906/907 for myself. Each month, I strive for 100%, so I check the "recent games" tab every 10-15 minutes to make sure that I haven't missed anything. If I see any, I do them right away. On Sunday, I went from 373/373 to 373/374 - even though I never saw a "retry?" on the recent games tab. Maybe I'm clicking "play" twice in a row (without realizing that I've inadvertently started two different puzzles), but they should still show up as "retry?" when I look at recent games.Comment

Oh okay, now I get it. This sounds like a question for Stephen, the site admin. You can reach him by using the "Questions of Comments?" box found at the bottom-right corner of most cryptograms site pages (but not forum pages). Please let us know if the mystery is solved.Comment
