when i click retry to go back to a puzzle, what happens to the timer? does it keep going til i sove it? i don't see any way to stop it and the only way i see to go on to the next is to click play

When you say retry what do you mean exactly...if you mean in the recent games list...then the timer keeps adding time and the only way to stop it is to solve it...and if you cannot solve it then move on to another puzzle...however if you are trying for 100% solve rate then just keep working at it...some of us have spent over an hour when we first started trying to solve puzzles...its frustrating but it keeps your 100% going.
If you are not concerned about the 100 then move on to the next puzzle, the recent games list only holds games for two hours then they are gone...so to stop the time solve the puzzle.

thanks for the info. that's pretty much what ive been doing, but when i got a time of over 5000 seconds i figured id better ask if theres something i dont know! btw, thanks for the tip about enter vs check it...i wish i had been doing that all along! nice to meet you tooComment
