          Wow, definitely a tough one, but I may have stumbled upon the second word. There is definitely very little repetition of letters. Other than the second word, the remaining vowels seem to have been used only twice in one case, but only once for the other three. Am I on the right track?

              Wow, I finally found one to stump pootie! :-)

              Vowels are somewhat scarce in these. I think, though, that if you stumbled on the 2nd word, there would be no question that you'd immediately uncover the 1st and the 3rd.

              If you just put your thinking hats on I'm sure you'll sort them out...

                            (puts away dickens and shakespeare, lol)

                            i was also digging deep into cs lewis, and tolkein. thought it might be the four kings of something in somehere part of middlearth.
                            however admin you got me re interested in a midsummers night dream. they got lots of odd names there. <good grammar. LOL

                              Yeah, I just figured it out myself. I couldn't remember where I'd heard the literary reference, "Hufflepuff," so I looked it up online and from there found the other two, which I'd never heard of. I've never read any of those Harry Potter books nor seen any of those Harry Potter movies.
