I looove ice cream, and pretty much any flavor will do...my favorites are cheesecake & cake batter, but I'm always happy with a good cookies & cream!

Vanilla ice cream with swirls of fudge and chocolaty-covered peanuts.

Heavenly Hash (Thrifty's). Chocolate Mousse Royale (Baskin-Robbins). I make a good espresso ice cream with a shot from Starbucks. When all else fails, can't go wrong with cookies 'n cream.

In the film Wayne's World, Garth Algar (Dana Carvey) says disparaging remarks about Rob Lowe's character, Benjamin Kane. "If he were an ice cream flavor, he would be 'Pralines and D**k.' " When I saw it on broadcast TV, it was toned down to, "If he were an ice cream flavor, he would be Jamocha Almond Idiot." The cool part was that they totally made it synch up with Dana Carvey's lips.



(Incidentally, those glasses were how I looked in 1991)

Maple and ice cream are not a good mix...sacrilege coming from a Canadian but I likes what I like.
