I wish there are more quotes by women. I can sometimes refresh my screen dozens of times and give up. Eleanor Roosevelt is one example. She had many wonderful quotes.

Hi Jwojak, and welcome to the site! It's true that the majority of quotes here are from male authors or speakers, but on the other hand I've seen many more quotes here from women than I've seen in any quote collection online or in books. The male majority here is not quite a landslide majority the way it is elsewhere.
That said, yes, we could definitely use more quotes from great, brilliant, funny and notorious women.
