Timing / Saved Games

If you save a game and come back later, the timer doesn't stop. I worked on a puzzle, saved it, then came back the next day to complete it, and my total puzzle time was around 24 hours! Either saved puzzles shouldn't count in your history/averages/records, or the timer should shut off when you aren't working on the puzzle.

Agree on the former. However, it's too easy to screenshot the puzzle, figure out the key move and then resume the puzzle in the latter.

Is there any way to get the attention of the developers to get this feature? Saved games don't count towards your history/average/records?

A game will only count toward your history/average/records if you finish it - so just letting a saved game lapse until it disappears from your recent games list should be all that's required. It will be recorded as an unfinished game, but it won't affect your average time.
