Puzzle page refreshing

Frequently while I'm working on a puzzle the page will get slow to respond then come up with an error, then the page refreshes and all my progress is gone. The error is something helpful like "this page experienced an error ". Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm using safari on iPad.
