    Ooooh TRICKY

OK, like most of you, I probably just go through the puzzle without really looking at or caring that much about the story. Well, I just had a puzzle where the same word was used in two places. So I failed.

If you come across the puzzle with HANDMADE JOURNALS, you need to know that LINEN can be either the type of paper used, OR the cover. Yikes.

Are they differentiated in some way in the clues, though? I recently came across one where there was both Morel and Cafe Morel in different categories, and that tripped me up, but it wasn't impossible. Similarly I often have problems with the ones where there are two categories that are people's first names (or pets' first names), and one is the client and one the trainer or hairdresser or whatever, even if the names are distinct.

Nope! I mean if I carefully read the clue, I'm sure one said linen cover and one said linen paper, but you know how it goes, you are just looking for the words!

I didn't screenshot the clues, but here is part of the grid. It's probably a mistake that they should fix, but it also is funny because it reminded me of just how much I am not really reading the clues.

I wanted to say that I think there have always been ones where you have to pay attention to the descriptive words, but I wanted an example and it took a while: so here's a panda moms and babies one.

Also to be on the lookout for:
              • Bristle Trench and bristlemouth (or something very similar) for one of the sea depth stories
              • In the new treehouse wood, roof, and family story, there is a green roof and also a family named the Greenes
There are others I've noticed, but those are the first to come to mind.

My original post was about having two exact things, linen and linen. But you are right there are a bunch of other nearly confusing ones.
Today I made a mistake with the microscopes, mixed up 100x and 1000x.
