This was happening a lot on the Conspiracy Puzzles, too. It seems to have stopped - thank you for fixing it quickly!

I've had the same thing happen! The worst part is that the only way to get out of it is to hit the back button. When you do that, it resets your entire puzzle but does not reset the time. Thank you for taking action on this!

Every time I play for more than five minutes, the screen goes to a Norton scam site. I can't finish a game! What's going on?
