Numberlink board refresh

Hi everyone -

We've launched our numberlink board refresh today, with an all new design and (hopefully) much more consistent gameplay controls across all environments, especially mobile. As with any new code there are bound to be a few unseen bugs or issues here and there, so please feel free to alert us to them on this thread.

I appreciate you trying to improve the game but this new version is terrible. The board is much harder to see AND to control; it is frankly unplayable for me. Please revert to the original game board!

The new board is difficult to use. If you accidentally hit the wrong square the entire path disappears and you have to start that path over. Frustrating!

I've increased the board size now, and made the grid lines more visible. And I've turned off the feature that removes a path if you click/tap in the middle of it (now you have to tap on the originating number to clear a path). Hope this helps.

So the main two things that are annoying me are 1. so you cant continue the path from anywhere you have to start it from the end. Like i want to continue the path in a spot I did not leave off on I cant and i have to get there from the end or delete the path.(If this makes sense) And then 2. Having to press start when you get into the puzzle is kind of annoying as it puts time on your solve and sometimes i sit there waiting for it to load for like 5-10 seconds meaning i can't get fast times.

I dislike the new board, but think it is nice for newer players. Can you make a toggle to be able to switch between the new and old board?

I am quite late to the party here. Life has been pretty hectic lately and I just now played some Numberlinks on the new board. I'll try to arrange my thoughts here.

Likes:
1. It fits on my screen now, even if I play a 15X15 board. Before, the largest I could play was as 13X13 without having to scroll my screen during gameplay.
2. You can turn off the sound and when you load a new game, the sound is still off.

Dislikes:
1. You must continue a pathway from the last space you colored. For example, I draw a pathway, but accidentally make it one space too long. I cannot just back up a space and draw from the next to last space on the pathway. I MUST click the final path space drawn and retrace backwards to where I want to change the pathway. I hope this example makes sense when reading it. Anyway, this is annoying. Before, you could draw a path from any square that was the color you wanted.
2. Because the board is smaller overall, it is more difficult to draw pathways. I end up drawing lots of lines that I don't mean to. Smaller size makes it harder to control. My Mom has intention tremors in her hands and I am afraid that Numberlinks will be impossible for her now.

Unsure if I Like or Dislike:
1. If you have bits of incomplete pathway scattered over the screen, you cannot erase them all by clicking on the corresponding number. ONLY the pathway drawn out from the number you click will be erased.
2. Sound effects

Conclusion:
1. My number one dislike is the inability to draw pathways from any space on the path. Please consider fixing this.
2. The player who posted just above me, tapewyrms., suggested a toggle to switch between new and old boards. It's a GREAT IDEA! I would really like a toggle too. Or maybe run both the new and old versions as two different games.
