Playing "Killer Sudoku" and I have a square narrowed down to one number. When the single number is "penciled" by itself, the accuracy check is good, but when I enter the exact same number, the accuracy check says that it's wrong. This has happened multiple times. The "Greater Than" sudoku exhibits the same behavior.

So I believe that I have determined the problem. Prior to the new format, when penciling in numbers, if you left the correct number out of the penciled in numbers (Example, 1,2,3,4 penciled in, and 5 is the correct answer), and did an accuracy check, it would result in an error. That is no longer the case. Now the only error reported is if you pencil in a number that is already excluded from possibility (by that number already appearing in the same row, column, or grid). This seems backwards to me. It allows the player to isolate two numbers (say 1,2) in a pair of squares in a row, column or grid, get a no error report from an accuracy check, then assume that those numbers cannot appear anywhere else in the row column or grid, when it could be that neither of the two squares that were isolated to those two numbers actually end up being those numbers in the solution.
Am I interpreting this correctly?Comment
