    Killer Sudoku suggestion

Would it be possible to implement something similar to Kakuro on the Killer Sudoku levels, where if you click the outline of a cage or the number of the cage sum, you get a list of possible number combinations?

For example, a 3-box cage of 6 that can all see each other (i.e., sharing a row, column, or 3x3 box grid) can only comprise 1, 2, or 3. While I have some of them memorized, it gets harder with higher sums, bigger cages, or cages that breach multiple 3x3 grids (allowing for repeated numbers within the grid).

I may be misunderstanding what you are saying, but in a killer sudoku you cannot have repeating numbers in the same cage. It doesn’t matter if the cells wouldn’t see each other in a traditional sudoku, as long as the cells are caged together there can’t be any repeating numbers. So a 3-cell cage that sums to 6 will be 1, 2, and 3 no matter the shape and position of the cage.

I know this doesn’t resolve your suggestion, but just wanted to share if you weren’t aware.

Asmig, thank you SO so much for telling me that! I've been stuck with medium puzzles and higher for the longest time.

I hope they add that to the list of rules, right now it's:
      • Standard Sudoku rules apply: fill every row, column, and 3x3 subgrid with 1–9.
      • The grid is divided into dashed "cages," each with a small number showing the cage’s target sum.
      • The digits inside each cage must add up to exactly that sum.
      • Remember the rule of 45: each row, column and subgrid must add up to 45.

Which doesn't say anything about no repeats in cages.

Regardless, thank you THANK YOU for letting me know!
