why is the scoring based on time?

    why is the scoring based on time?

    so if i complete a puzzle in 30 seconds and get 4 right answers i get 70 points, and if i get 7 answers right but take 113 seconds i get 40 points? im not mad or anything just confused

    It's a combination of difficulty of question and time spent to solve them. Not just time, not just answers. The optimum score is 100% correct in the shortest possible time.

      The faster your time the lower the chance you looked up an answer?

        Very strange scoring logic in Spider Solitaire! If you submit your score (choosing New Game) without having made a single move, you get 1400 points for speed and low number of moves bonuses!
