I saw "pedia" and then "cyc", so I typed in encyclopedia, an lo, it was there!

I've had that happen before quite regularly. The most impressive: I saw and entered FULLERENES (which is itself a word) and then saw BUCK elsewhere on the board, and typed BUCKMINSTERFULLERENES. Lo and behold, it was there.

DrPlacebo, I remember that story (from forums long gone by now), and I was impressed then. I admit that I've gotten words the same way, seeing parts & just typing the full thing. I've also screwed myself that way, thinking that the word must be there, but wasting so much time trying to find the (sometimes hidden) word path that I convince myself it's not there (only to see later that it was). In real Boggle, that would almost never work, but here, it's always worth a shot.
