New dictionary and new boards

This morning I noticed that a lot more boards were showing up as "new" and almost all the remainder had been played only once or twice. I've been on long enough to eliminate the possibility that it's just chance, so either we got a large dump of more new boards or every board that had a score of more than 600 posted on it was pruned and has not yet returned. It could be both, of course. I do notice that the boards that I do see seem to be rather unpromising ones for high scores -- low numbers of words, not many long words, etc.

Mobile play has sound effects, some earlier versions don't. I just stick with version 1, good enough for me, no sound effects--can't find any settings to change.
I just found CHIMERICALNESSES and CHIMERICALNESS, apparently new, although CHIMERICAL I think was in the old dictionary.

I'm not sure if this was a change with the new boards, or because I moved to a new computer.... I can't find the place to turn off the sound effects. help!

STRONGHANDED is not in dictionary, although STRONGHANDEDNESS and STRONGHANDEDNESSES are. This seems like another set to check.

I had fun getting SUPERPOLITENESSES and SUPEROFFENSIVENESSES in two relatively close boards

Just scored points for UNINDICTABLENESS and UNINDICTABLENESSES, but not the adjective UNINDICTABLE.

Wow! Amazing ... how did you find it?

Playing for long words, you just get used to putting things together, and then look for even more to add. (lalatan calls them Frankenstein words.) I started by finding DIABOLICAL, added the NESSES (this is used so much, seeing it becomes almost second nature), and looked some more & found SUPER. I was somewhat surprised that it worked though. Anyway, I generally spend my time looking rather than typing.

Thank you Stephen for adding all the new puzzles, I was having trouble finding one with a reasonable score I could possibly get close to or @ least meet. Now I can create new records & its become fun again. I know the record won't last very long but its nice to have it @ least for one player. Am not one of those AMAZING players who can come up with those super long words, I'm lucky if I can find one that 7 letters. So all the new boards @ least gives me a chance to have some records even if its just for a little while.

I was wondering if that had kicked in yet. I just got SUPERDIABOLOCALNESSES (40 points) and had never seen that before. By the way, SUPERDIABOLICALNESS doesn't work.
