problems with ads popping up

I don't know if anyone else is having the same issue today, but I am having an ENDLESS problem with ads popping up in the middle of my game playing. They cover part of the 5x5 game board, first from the left side moving toward the right side, and then from the bottom moving up the page. I have had this problem before, but not for a long time. No new browser here, no new computer, no new software, no new software update--all was fine yesterday, and I can hardly play today.

Install AdBlock Plus - it works very well, free.

I use AdGuard AdBlocker for firefox. Works perfectly. I feel slightly guilty about depriving websites of revenue, but they brought it on themselves by allowing disruptive ads in the first place.
