    Admin: Flagged posts to approve

I tried to message admin but got error message that admin's mail box is full or exceeded limits.
I tried to message admin2 (is this an official name?) but got no reply.
I have two of my last five or so posts that got flagged (a couple of weeks ago or more at this point) because I tried to reedit too quickly, apparently.
    Thanks!

I've set up a new system that will hopefully alleviate this problem somewhat. The forum software will now run checks to see which users are active and have reached a certain threshold of approved posts, and will exempt them from spam checking going forward. My initial test seems to have worked. BoggleOtaku - your account met the threshold and was updated to be a "trusted user". Would you mind posting something to this thread, and then coming back and editing it to see if it now will bypass our spam checks?

Sorry for the hassle everyone. Spammers lately have been getting out of control on the forums and I'm constantly trying to keep one step ahead. What's worse, some bots are using ChatGPT and similar programs to appear human by mimicking old posts that have been made here before, then going back and editing those posts to include malicious links.

            Thank you, much appreciated!

OK, for a test, I'll paste in a picture, then edit and repaste in as a smaller size. (I'm not sure the preview actuall shows the final size correctly have have redone--I'll check this too. [Edit, this appeared correct as posted size in preview;]

Here's a suprising best word. Usually the player that got the longest word here would also get the best word as well, so I was lucky!

Maybe I'm just dense but I'll never understand the point of spamming. It just seems so desperate. Haven't these people got anything better to do?

Some people seem to have nothing good to do. I guess all we can do is pity them. How about the obvious cheaters? If you play Sudoku, check the current leader board. Average time of less than 30 seconds for Insane puzzles? Suuuuuuurrre!

Wow! Thanks for keeping this site clean from those malicious links!

Ooo, oo, when can I become a 'trusted user'? What's that threshold?

In the past I could NEVER edit anything or it would be flagged. I'd reread my post several times (sometimes taking a break & coming back to it ) & still yet I've left off something & then just have to leave it as one simple edit & I might as well not posted.

I don't want to publicly announce the exact criteria to keep the bad actors in the dark, but most people who are active members of the forum with a certain number of posts will be in the Trusted Users category. (You already are, by the way - try editing a post and it should work fine.)
