(Really have had no interest in posting for a couple of months now. But...)

Hillary and Norgay would understand your situation completely.

Still, you can take some satisfaction in having been a pioneer. We have all benefitted from your efforts.

You have more admirers here than you know. It's just a quiet audience. You play your song or recite your poems, look up and wait ...

Later people come up, telling you how much your performance meant to them. And you wonder why they never bothered to let you know while sitting in the audience.

Glad you haven't died. Playing is mostly a mental exercise for me, but... It's sort of like wanting to do some more pullups or bench presses. When is enough enough?

So expensive, the opportunity costs of playing too much here. So much living available elsewhere.

A couple of good books I've read lately that were life/health gamechangers: The Glucose Revolution and Mind Magic. The change in diet and mindset have made a signifcant difference.

So many scenic vistas still to have. So much to learn. So much to understand.

I wish you well lalatan. Enjoy what ever diversion you choose. Back when you were one of the first "long word" players you often brought a smile to my face with some of the crazy words you found.

I have come to the conclusion that the way games are now distributed is too odious for me to continue playing Wordtwist regularly. Too boring clicking through so many games. I now go for days w/o playing and don't miss it.

I thought about just fading away but then a few may think I died. Like anyone I could die at any moment but I'm currently still alive. Just not reading the forum or playing >50 games/month. I wish you all well.
