Thank you very much! I started a bit late in the month and wasn't sure I'd make it.
This is the only category I have a chance in as I'm a slow typer, and don't often score over 400, lol.
I sorta am, I guess you could say. Every 2 hours I have to ice my chronic bursitis sites to keep mobile. That means I'm supine during that time. I used to play Wordtwist on a PC using a wireless keyboard. We had to move last May because the landlords needed to replace all the plumbing in their house (we got partially flooded 7 times in 8 years). Now there's no room for a PC in our smaller bedroom.
In my search to replace Wordtwist I discovered Scrabble, crosswords and other word games cannot be played on a phone. I found a word game I prefer but I have to play up to 20 boards for up to 45 minutes to complete 1 game. It entails lots of swiping on the phone, sometimes frenetically. Anything more than 1 game causes my forearm tendinitis to flare up. So I started to play Wordtwist occasionally once that game was done. I was usually able to find a suitable 5x5 game in <20 clicks. My ability to spot long words hadn't eroded that much. So I started playing at times w/o checking my stats or the forum. Last month I got curious where I was for the month 2/3 of the way through. Lol, I had played over 100 5x5 games and over 50 4x4 ones. So that's why I unexpectedly wound up in the trophies.
PS: Since my "departure" (although I did say I'd continue to play some games) I hadn't read the forum until yesterday to see if anyone noticed. And you did so I feel I owed an explanation. All the best to you...

Congrats to you! You achieved a crazy high avg, one that I could match but do not want to. May you prosper in your sesquipedalian pursuits.
