Wow, I noticed today that your high scores and word count are almost 50% higher than I remember seeing previously.
Maybe this happened over just the last few months?

I'm quite impressed and also it's encouraging to see such large improvements can happen even long into the game.

For myself I've had only incremental improvements over the last few years.
I'm wondering what your secret is...

Geez, thanks for noticing. Just getting back online after a crazy Christmas weekend.

No big secrets here other than keeping a journal of new words that I try to add to daily. I try to simply increase my vocabulary by about 1-2 words per day and maybe 10-12 per week.....

I've always loved Boggle and played a lot with my family over the years in all the variations starting with 4 x 4 then moving to 5 x 5 and 6 x 6. Writing is a whole different discipline than typing! I'm not trying to brag but my typing skills are sorely lacking compared to some of the younger wizards on here but I do see words much faster than I can key them in.

Another thing that helps a lot is that I have a nearly photographic memory so one glance at a board is usally sufficient for finding about 100 words and then I take another glance at the board. Proabably a very unorthodox style but it works and I find the typing exercise challenging. This also really helps with memorizing short odd words that many players likely miss. I have no idea what about 40% of the words I key in actually mean at this point!

I knew some extra effort was part of it, with your journal. Even though there may be faster typists here, 220+ words is nothing to sneeze at!

We are a little on opposite ends. I usually am looking for words to type, constantly looking at board (don't have to look at fingers to type, thankfully), and see at most say 10 words ahead, and that rarely. My highest scores are when there are a lot of large rare words with double zz's and the like, where I can start to see more than I can type. That's not many of the boards. And it's not getting me higher in score. I bet a journal would help me, especially trying to be able to see more rare words that are smaller, as others have shown the way.
