Is anyone else getting those annoying Verizon ads that pop up and prevent you from doing the rest of the puzzle?

I've reported this ad to our ad management company and am working on a code-related fix that should hopefully prevent this from reoccurring. If you are still seeing this problem past 7:13pm Eastern time tonight please let me know.

Thank you so much to Wordgenie for reporting this, and thanks to admin for working to fix it. I’m on an older iPad and thought it was just my machine so I just dealt with it.

The Verizon ad just screwed up my puzzle again. 6:25 pm EDT 3/11

I've bumped you up to premium for a week while we get this sorted. I was hoping for an update before EOB today from our ad management company but still no resolution. I will follow up with them in the morning. Apologies again!

Lauramur, you can get out of it and retry the puzzle, but it really is a nuisance.

I get the one where it says to rotate your screen. Sometimes I can exit out of it, but most times I have to start again by “retrying” my puzzle. My latest answers do not always show up.

Well in order to do this I would basically have to make thousands of screen shots showing how I never get a new random game, that's not going to happen. I have been playing this game for years, I get new games on the 4x4 and 5x5. You will have to take my word for it that I dont get new games for 6x6 yet I am charged the full fee to play monthly. If I am not allowed to get new 6x6 games maybe a discount. You can look at my history to see how much I play. Maybe check my settings or whatever it is you do behind the scenes?

Hi Dodgerfan -

6x6 games don't regenerate as often as 4x4 and 5x5 because regeneration is triggered when a puzzle is solved > 40 times. Since only premium players see 6x6 Wordtwist puzzles, it takes a very long time to get that many solves on each puzzle.

That said, I'll see about creating a new library of 6x6 puzzles and will try to filter them into rotation at a set number of puzzles each month, so that there's always some new ones in there going forward.
