Welcome to our newest site - Borderline Puzzles!

You're given a map with certain regions already shaded in one of four different colors. Your task is to use pure logical deduction to figure out the one unique way in which each map can be colored so that no two regions of the same color ever touch.

The "check" button doesn't work as expected. I intentionally filled the leftmost country yellow, which is clearly incorrect, but when I pressed the check button it says there are no mistakes.

I'm not quite understanding how I can get more points. Right now I've chosen the large puzzle with market towns and capitals, but I am averaging about 20 points per puzzle. How does the point system work?

Oh wow the point system is so wonky, I left a puzzle and came back an hour later and got 1000 something points. So the longer I take, the more points I get??

Yeah if you look at the monthly high score chart right now, the #1 ranked has an average solve time of 10619.1 seconds and an average score of 1179.5 pts, whereas my average solve time is 298.7 seconds and average points are 49.8 ...
Nothing about this makes sense.

There was a bug in the scoring algorithm that hopefully was ironed out yesterday. If you continue to see strange results please let me know.
