                Adobe Reader has a function for that, so you don't have to remember a bookmark or a dog ear or the page number.

                  Um, only if EVERY child, both male and female, has two. Assuming there is both a mother and father involved, two children PER COUPLE would be zero population growth.

                  That's flawed reasoning. It would also depend on life expectancy. Obviously, if people lived to be 1,000 years old instead of 70, the world would be far more crowded.

                    I always remember the comments more than the quote. Isn't this same quote duplicated, with a comment by bansai, with a link to a hat with a veil, that has a zipper?

                            I've always thought that Chesterton was the most inane figure ever quoted on this site. You can even read it in my post from 9/9/2008. (link) At least Jack Handey is trying to be humorous. GK Chesterton takes himself seriously.
