        I had to Google this one. It turns out that Johann von Neumann is another name for Hungarian-born, American mathemetician and economist, John von Neumann, whose birth name was Neumann János Lajos. I was also surprised to find that he never seems to have won the Nobel Prize. (Or can someone call me to account on this?)

                              Bansaisequoia, aka Joseph Kartheiser of Boca Raton, left us at age 57 on September 24, 2019. His comment at the top of this thread gave me a big lump in my throat. His sense of humor really was a godsend for him. (link)
