My husband says that we are the same age. I say that I am a year older. I hate that it bothers me, but it bothers me. My father told my mom that he was 2 years older than he was. Years later he started using his real age and she never believed him. When he died and she had to do the paperwork, she found out that he was telling the truth.

The sewing gene runs strong in my family, but it skipped me entirely. I'm a good cook. I guess my recipes will have to be what lasts. It won't be sewing.

This is abra's son. When I worked at McDonald's my pants were coming apart along the waistline. One of the women about my mom's age said "Doesn't your mother have a sewing machine?" And I said "Yes, but it falls apart in her hands" "That's a terrible thing to say about your mother." "She's the one who said it".

But she was a good cook.
