Volume 2 - Custom Earrings

I love logic problems and generally don't have a tough time with them. But I have been stuck on Volume 2's "Custom Earrings" puzzle. I feel like clue 7 must be written incorrectly or maybe I am just supposed to guess to solve this and see it works out?! However, I know that is generally not the method for solving these problems, so I am stumped. I finally gave in and asked Chat GPT for help, but it could not solve it either. Please help!

The most expensive one is set with rubies, and Reid has the silver. So clue 7 could read "Of Reid and Tyler's, one was set with emeralds and the other with rubes." Mark thoseoptions down and see if that gets you unstuck.
