        Fun word.

A tribute to your memory that you both held onto the word and were able to pluck it from the jumble.

So many words to find. So many misses. Easy to clog your brain with word-overload.

        Congrats on the find.

I Just found the word ARCHAEOMAGNETISM on a 4x4. I wasn't exactly sure what it was, apparently it's to do with dating things using the changes to the earth's magnetic field. I thought it sounded like an inescapable pull to study archaeology.

I'm always happy to find uncommon music terms, such as CROTALES.

Finally found the long word I've been hoping to find for a long time, probably one of everyone's favorites...

THEORBO, because knowing a thing or two about baroque music finally helped.

Lovely! One of my favourite ridiculous-looking instruments! Well done!

I just typed"BACON", and I have to say that IS my favorite word that I have ever found.

MONOUBIQUITINYLATION, which I knew mainly because, when I was an undergrad, I was a TA for a professor whose main research interest was the ubiquitin system.

Okay--Made me look up theorbo. So--I have another letter combo to play with. Doubt I'll be playing with the actual musical instrument.

How unusual. So the plural of Crotales is a cymbol set instrument and Crotale is a missile. How unusual indeed.

The name of the missile is the French word for rattlesnake.โ€‹ Both words ultimately come from from the Greek krotalon, meaning a castanet or rattle.โ€‹

My favourite word isn't long or complicated or obscure, but it made me smile when I found it. The word is hilllike (yes, there are 3 els in a row). With certain sans serif fonts it becomes "HIlllIKE" which gives the impression it might be a long, exhausting hike!

STRYCHNINISMS, a satisfying find in a vowel-meagre patch.
