Ran across these in back to back games. Was going to comment on the first, so took a screen shot, then played another game, and...

You'd think that to take something out of a charnel house, you'd have to put something in, but charnelling isn't a word apparently.

Here's a word that has always been relevant, (though coined in early 1800's) but should get more play these days. Like kakistocracy and kleptocracy.
Except rule by gold.
Love this picture of the scales off justice being influenced by money. Stolen justice.

Saw CYBERSQUATTING in hex, but ran out of time to finish typing. Has that been spotted before (trying to figure out if hex has new dictionary words)?Comment

I just played a board that had been played 33 times, and while there were several 9+ words indicated, the previous longest word was only 8 letters long. I believe I found the easter eggs: PROCRASTINATE and PROCRASTINATES. Why no-one else could see them is a total mystery!

Congratulations! Maybe everyone else was too busy procrastinating?I just played a board that had been played 33 times, and while there were several 9+ words indicated, the previous longest word was only 8 letters long. I believe I found the easter eggs: PROCRASTINATE and PROCRASTINATES. Why no-one else could see them is a total mystery!
I have a theory that some patterns are more difficult to find than others. I don't mean the words themselves, but how the letters are distributed in the boards. As a swiper (because my typing skills are abysmal), I try to get a feel of the shapes and patterns of the hidden words, and sometimes this feels like trying my brain into knots. Some long words sit there as plain as day and it takes a real effort to find anything but the longest word on the board. Others are better at hiding and pretending to look like a random jumble of letters.
The other day, I found PRESTIGIOUSLY in a 4x4 that had been played 34 times and the previous longest word had been 7 letters. These types of finds are the most gratifying.Comment
