Saw that lalatan had gotten a 16/30 word so was looking for it first. Found it quickly enough to run off a string of red (UR) words. More often than not, if I look for the longest word first I end up running out of time and dump the board.
Part of a healthy mindset is to do onto others, and I've always appreciated hints, strategies and helps that other players have offered, so ...
Here's another red board with the twist that the list begins with a 16/30. Most of these are common and wide UR words. You're just gonna run into them over and over and over, so it's good to have them memorized if getting higher scores is important.
I mistyped a few that didn't show up, like ritts, ritting, stinge, tinger, retime and retimes. They show up a lot also.

Sorry for posting again, but I have really been into playing 5X5 as the 4X4 grids have been abysmal. I hit the 1100 club! I will continue to challenge myself and try and beat my records. Have fun playing, everyone.
Total points: 1132New record!
Total words: 133 (38 common,25 wide,10 rare,60 ultra rare)New record!

Congratulations! The best opponent is always yourself; you can't lie, can't cheat, and always tell on yourself if you try to do either. So, if you beat yourself you've always won against a worthy opponent. But it gets better: you can always find a game within that game to play, and you've already begun. You're playing number of words and highest score. Soon enough, you'll be playing for longest word and highest point per word. There are countless ways to get better. May you find most of them and find pleasure in them all.Leave a comment:

Congratulations! I sincerely doubt I will ever match that score. And you averaged more than 8 points per word, too!Leave a comment:

I don't play 5 by 5 very much, but I don't think I've gotten over a 1000 when I have played it. Even in 6 by 6, it's hard for me to get over a 1000. Great job again - I look forward to getting half as much someday.Leave a comment:

A pretty sizable improvement on my previous 5x5 best. Missed a couple big Q's that would have put it over 25, but quite happy nonetheless.Leave a comment:

Thank you MPD. If I ever get to 900 or especially 1000, I'll probably be using this message board again.Leave a comment:
