I think the author Terry Pratchett would disagree with the dictionary on this occasion. In his Discworld books, if you drink too much Klatchian coffee while drunk, it can sober you up too much so you pass through the state of sobriety and out the other side, and end up being knurd. Not many people can handle being knurd, because you see the world too clearly in a way that the human brain can't process. I guess "oversaneness" could be a mild case of knurdness.
